Reviewing The 2020 Hyundai Venue Features

The 2020 Hyundai Venue makes the segment of subcompact crossovers richer by materializing big innovative ideas sketched by its makers. With the launch of the 2020 edition of Venue, Hyundai has now filled up the gap in its crossover lineup that till now only had big-sized models like Kona and Palisade. The 2020 Hyundai Venue now completes the catalogue of crossovers as a five-door hatchback that catered a big section of buyers who wanted to have all the advantage of owning a crossover but in a smaller gamut.

As heard from the Terre Haute Hyundai dealer staff, the 2020 Hyundai Venue has already made its debut at the 2019 New York International Auto Show where the brand has announced its trims to be named as SE and SEL.

Styling Cues

The 2020 Venue has borrowed many of its styling cues from its larger siblings, be it the pair of gorgeous headlights or the split daytime running lights, but its individuality is maintained with a prominent line, if you look at the front grille, the fine-creased fenders or its high-contrasting color scheme that includes a wide range of shades named as Scarlet Red, Intense Blue, Green Apple, and Denim. Among these the last one  can be paired in combination of a white roof with denim-fashioned interior that looks really cool.

Riding on 15-inch wheels in general, the 2020 Hyundai Venue can also be run with big 17-inchers that match perfectly with the well sculpted body.

The Room Inside

Inside every trim model of the 2020 Hyundai Venue lays a neatly arranged space that can make more than enough place to accommodate five passengers with comfort and keep them informed and entertained through a big 8.0-inch touchscreen that is mounted on the dash instead of the top, to make it go easier with the eye level of the passengers as well as the driver.

Each of the inside cabins of the 2020 Hyundai Venue can be draped either in black or gray cloth upholstery if you go with the standard setting, but as mentioned above, you can also order the upholstery in denim-colored synthetic leather upholstery and get that retro look.

The inner space of each 2020 Hyundai Venue can be split into  a 60/40-ratio for passengers and their cargo leaving a space of 18.7 cubic feet behind the rear seat which is the standard measurement. But it can be stretched up to 31.9 cubes if you can fold down the rear seat.

Power Under the Hood

Irrespective of the trim you choose, there will be a 1.6-liter inline-4 engine under the hood of every 2020 Hyundai Venue that will be paired wither to a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with only front wheels configured as the sole drivetrain. This engine is capable of making 121 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque to return a decent fuel efficiency that counts 33 mpg from a combined trip as rated by the EPA.

Safety Systems

The Terre Haute Hyundai dealership staff reported that the 2020 Hyundai Venue stays at par with its segment when it comes to safety concerns. Hyundai has installed automatic emergency braking as a standard equipment on every model while features like Blind-spot monitors, Driver-attention monitor and Active lane control can be availed on select trims.
